The ferrets saw the vet today and all 4 ferrets need surgery ! Two need immediate surgery, and will be going in next Monday. The two going in on Monday for surgery are Rufus and Dominic. Rufus has advanced adrenal disease. It is causing difficulty with urinating. He will have the tumor and adrenal gland removed. Dominic has a tumor as the base of his tail, he is having the tumor and his tail removed! It we wait too long for the surgery the tumor will start growing towards his anus :(
The other 2 ferrets, Pheobe and Crimson also have adrenal disease , just not as advanced at Rufus's. They will eventually need surgery.
