Bonnie's eye

I wanted to let everyone know that Bonnie the sugar glider is doing excellent. Her eye isn't so painful or infected anymore and she is able to hold it open now. There is a film over the eye, which could be the corneal perferation still healing, or she may be permanently blind in that eye. Time will tell as she heals even further. I am so happy that she has done so well, with Dr.T and the clavamox meds and Neomycin cream she has improved greatly and will be OK :)

Yay that's great! Bonnie is so cute! Who cares about the eyes? She's too adorable WITH IT! I wish I can adopt her, but I'm allergic to pets. Will she be put up for adoption? I can't adopt her, but I know some friends near your rescue center. I'll inform them. Some want her for a pet that I know. Want me to tell them?

Hi Jamie,
I'd say that Bonnie and Clyde will be adoptable in about 2 weeks, as long as all goes well, and Bonnie's eye is healed.
Clyde is getting neutered this upcoming Wednesday. We want to give him some time to heal and recover too.
You may let them know about Bonnie and Clyde will be needing a home soon. And about Bonnie's eye trauma and recovery. They can fill out an application in the meantime if they would like
fill out an adoption application today - www.lifelongtails.org/adoption_applic.htm
all they need to do is copy and paste that link in their browser and fill it out. It will automatically go to my e-mail as long as they click send :)

Hi!

My name is Janessa Solem and I'm writting you in regards to the sugar gliders you are caring for, Bonnie and Clyde. My husband and I LOVE sugar gliders, and unfortunately, recenetly had ours pass away unexpectidly. "Ellenor" was my husbands baby--he loved her so much, and I've been planning on getting him another one for Christmas, but I came across your listing looking for a home for these guys, and I thought I'd check about them first. The biggest issue, is that I live fairly far away, so I was wondering if anyone in your rescue organization is ever willing to drive to meet someone, about an hour or 2 to cut down on the trip. Also, I was wondering if there are any adoption fees and/or fees to cover Bonnie's health expences. Thanks so much for the info! It would be nice to have some "Leadbeaters" in my freezer again!

Sincerely,

Janessa Solem

You may email me back, if you wish, at janessas2@hotmail.com

Once again, sorry I had to post on the blog, but I couldn't get the email address to work!
