Jade's health has been declining. Jade is our sexy black cat that has kidney failure. She is so loving and affectionate. She hasn't been eating as well, she is eating a little, just not as well. She is laying around and tired more often. She is drinking even more than she was and she is walking around the house meowing as if she is looking for something or wanting something. I keep reassuring her that I am here and smother her with kisses and love, but she still seems, anxious and nervous about something. I continually tell her that I wish this wasn't happening to her, she didn't deserve this at all, she's such a great cat, we love her dearly.
Our newest arrival is a guinea pig, a young boy. He was abandoned in an apartment without food or water for up to a week! How awful! thankfully someone took him in and fed him and gave him water. She was unable to keep him long term though. We have him now to find his forever home. He is doing fantastic, a lot of energy and eating loads of food. he is a brown and white Abyssinian boy, and as soon as he's had his vet check-up and all is clear he will be adoptable. Oh, and we named him Nickle. I'll take pictures soon, he's still settling in.
