Recent Events

What we do is take in pets from bad situations or from being unwanted/homeless and then we find them good homes. Many times these pets are neglected, under socialized or haven't even been handled at all, we do our best to socialize and care for these guys until their adoption day, it is our hopes that all adoptive parents then carry on this TLC care.
With recent events, I am starting to doubt our mission. We always fear legal attacks or lawsuits carried out by anyone who surrenders or adopts. Even though we do everything in our will power to keep all pets healthy and happy and in good conditions. We are still working on becoming incorporated and Tax exempt, we still know the reality that we could loose our house and everything we own if we were to be sued. Of course all I can think of , is, what would happen to the rescues and all our own pets if that were to happen. Most people do realize that what we do is out of of the kindness of our hearts and for the love of the animals. We do not receive any profit with what we do, in fact much money has come out of our own pockets. And we thank everyone who has donated. With this in mind I do not think anyone would attack us in such a fashion. There is always that what if though and that fear lingers.
