The 9 mice arrived today, there are black ones and white ones. 5 girls and 4 boys. They are climbing all around and spinning in the wheels. I had forgotten that mice have a distinct odor to them. That's alright though, things will be a bit smelly while the mice are here, no big deal. I think it is mainly the males that do a bit of scent marking that creates the odor. They are loads of fun to watch and are balls of cuteness with tails.
Lizzie the guinea pig went home today :) Lizzie will soon be united with her new roomie after they have had some "getting to know you" time. Hopefully they'll be the best of girlfriends. Lizzie's new Mom donated some supplies, garbage bags ( we use a lot of those each week) and cleaner, thank you so very much! It helps us out a lot :) Here's a picture of Lizzie, I haven't taken any pics of the mice yet. Just got home work not too long ago, I was called in today.
